Demo cheat sheet

10 talking points for roofing owners and salespeople moving off paper. Use arrow keys or the buttons below to advance.

1

Hook — the paper problem

  • Lost leads = lost revenue. Paper notes and text chains get buried.
  • No one knows which jobs are waiting on insurance, supplements, or signatures.
  • Photos live on five different phones. Contracts live in truck glove boxes.
  • Gem State CRM puts the whole job — lead → measurement → proposal → production — in one record.
2

Capture a lead in the field

  • Open the Map tab. Tap 'Locate me' — the phone drops a pin at the customer's house.
  • Tap the roof, enter name/phone, and a new lead is created with address + street view attached.
  • Salesperson can also use the camera button on New Lead or Old Lead forms to snap a contract or damage photo right then.
  • Use Old Leads to quickly load paper leads from the filing cabinet without retyping everything.
3

Pipeline — no more whiteboard

  • Dashboard shows every open deal, stage by stage: Lead → Inspection → Proposal → Signed → Scheduled → Complete.
  • Filter by New leads, Aging, or Old leads so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Open pipeline value and deal counts update automatically as you move cards.
  • Owner/admin can see every deal; sales reps only edit their own — no lead stealing.
4

Roof measurements

  • Order EagleView, Hover, or Roofr reports from the deal — or enter squares and pitch by hand.
  • Report PDFs and measurements attach directly to the job record.
  • No need to jump between apps, email files to the office, or lose track of which report belongs to which house.
5

Proposals & financing

  • Build Good / Better / Best options from the built-in price book.
  • Add financing through Hearth — homeowner sees monthly payment right on the proposal.
  • Send a secure signing link to the homeowner's phone; signed PDF comes back into the CRM automatically.
  • When signed, the deal stage flips and the office is notified instantly.
6

Production & checklists

  • Drag the signed job onto a crew on the calendar; crew lead gets an email automatically.
  • Salesperson checklist confirms dumpster spot, drip edge/gutter detail, pipe boots, and accessories.
  • Foreman checklist confirms materials on site, driveway photo before the container drops, cleanup, and final walk-through.
  • Hard gates prevent moving forward until required photos and answers are complete.
7

Photos & documents in one place

  • All job photos, contracts, insurance docs, and permits attach to the deal — no separate CompanyCam subscription.
  • Field team uploads from any phone, even with weak signal (queued for later sync).
  • Full-resolution originals plus thumbnails; older photos archive after 12 months but stay accessible to active customers.
8

Consistent pricing

  • 106-item master price book pre-loaded: labor, prep, asphalt shingle, and standing seam categories.
  • Edit cost, markup, and sell inline; sell price recalculates automatically.
  • Every rep quotes from the same numbers, protecting margin.
9

Price advantage

  • $250/month for up to 10 users, then $25/month per additional user.
  • Free crew links for subs — they never need a paid seat.
  • Compare to Roofr, JobNimbus, AccuLynx, and Jobber: per-user tiers, extra photo tools, and extra e-signature tools.
  • Everything — measurement ordering, proposals, e-sign, photos, scheduling, checklists — is included.
10

Close — next step

  • Start a free trial or schedule a follow-up walkthrough.
  • Data imports: bring over old leads, contacts, and price books.
  • Onboarding help available to get the first job created same day.
